\nO Testamento de Maria, <\/b>com dire\u00e7\u00e3o e adapta\u00e7\u00e3o de Ron Daniels, \u00e9 inspirado no livro hom\u00f4nimo do escritor irland\u00eas ColmT\u00f3ibin, que tamb\u00e9m escreveu o bestseller \u201cBrooklyn\u201d, cuja adapta\u00e7\u00e3o para cinema foi indicada ao Oscar 2016 em tr\u00eas categorias.<\/p>\n
A montagem revela como Maria, a m\u00e3e de Jesus Cristo, procura desvendar os mist\u00e9rios ao redor da crucifica\u00e7\u00e3o de seu filho. Perseguida e exilada, ela narra a sua trajet\u00f3ria e todo o seu sofrimento com uma voz carregada de ternura, ironia e raiva. Maria se prop\u00f5e a falar apenas a verdade sobre a enorme crueldade dos romanos e anci\u00e3os judeus.<\/p>\n
A ideia da encena\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 destacar n\u00e3o apenas a import\u00e2ncia religiosa de Maria, mas revel\u00e1-la como uma figura de enorme estatura moral. \u201cEstava alerta, tamb\u00e9m, ao fato de vermos Maria como \u00edcone, como m\u00e3e, mas nunca como uma mulher que sabe se colocar e que precisa ser ouvida. Para dar-lhe uma voz, olhei para os textos gregos, para as imagens de uma mulher solit\u00e1ria e corajosa, pronta para dizer palavras que s\u00e3o dif\u00edceis de ouvir\u201d, esclarece ColmT\u00f3ibin.<\/p>\n
A montagem rendeu \u00e0 Denise Weinberg o pr\u00eamio APCA 2016 (Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Paulista de Cr\u00edticos de Arte), na categoria de melhor atriz. \u201cO ponto de partida do nosso espet\u00e1culo tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 este: uma atriz maravilhosa, que \u00e9 a Denise, um texto de grande profundidade, e um espet\u00e1culo puro, belo e despojado, que possa oferecer \u00e0 plateia\u00a0momentos de grande humanidade\u201d, diz Ron Daniels.<\/p>\n
Em cena, a atriz \u00e9 acompanhada apenas pelo m\u00fasico Gregory Slivar, que assina e executa a trilha sonora ao vivo. O espet\u00e1culo foi produzido originalmente na Broadway, por Scott RudinProductions e desenvolvido pelo Dublin Theatre Festival e LandmarkProductions, com o apoio do IrishTheatreTrust.<\/p>\n

\nO TESTAMENTO DE MARIA<\/span><\/b><\/p>\nO escritor ColmT\u00f3ibin imagina como Maria, perseguida no fim de sua vida e no ex\u00edlio, procura desvendar os mist\u00e9rios que cercaram a crucifica\u00e7\u00e3o de Jesus Cristo. Maria faz quest\u00e3o de falar somente a verdade. Ela encara n\u00e3o s\u00f3 a imensa crueldade dos romanos e dos anci\u00e3os judeus, e a estranha e inexplic\u00e1vel exalta\u00e7\u00e3o dos disc\u00edpulos do seu filho, como tamb\u00e9m as suas pr\u00f3prias ang\u00fastias e hesita\u00e7\u00f5es. Deste modo, al\u00e9m de m\u00e3e, de s\u00edmbolo religioso e de figura hist\u00f3rica, Maria se revela uma figura de enorme estatura moral, uma verdadeira e inesquec\u00edvel mulher.<\/p>\n
