A vers\u00e3o cl\u00e1ssica do autor franc\u00eas Jean Racine (1639-1699) para a trag\u00e9dia grega Fedra, escrita originalmente por Eur\u00edpides, ganha uma nova encena\u00e7\u00e3o com dire\u00e7\u00e3o de Roberto Alvim. O espet\u00e1culo estreia em 4 de maio no teatro do Sesc Pomp\u00e9ia, onde segue em cartaz at\u00e9 o dia 27 desse m\u00eas, com sess\u00f5es de quinta a s\u00e1bado, \u00e0s 21h, e aos domingos, \u00e0s 18h.<\/p>\n

A trag\u00e9dia \u00e9 o mito da insurrei\u00e7\u00e3o feminina contra o poder e as regras sociais. Na trama, Fedra (interpretada por Juliana Galdino, vencedora do Pr\u00eamio Shell de melhor atriz por \u201cMed\u00e9ia\u201d) \u00e9 casada com o rei Teseu. Ela se apaixona por Hip\u00f3lito, filho de seu marido. Quando Teseu \u00e9 declarado morto na guerra, Fedra cria coragem e declara seu amor por seu enteado. Mas Teseu retorna e, ao descobrir a paix\u00e3o incestuosa de sua esposa por seu filho, precipita uma s\u00e9rie de eventos que conduzem o reino \u00e0 cat\u00e1strofe.<\/p>\n

Obra suprema do esp\u00edrito humano, Fedra \u00e9 a trag\u00e9dia que brota de nosso medo mais terr\u00edvel: o de nos apaixonarmos por aquilo que a sociedade, com sua leis e regras, n\u00e3o nos permite. A pe\u00e7a prop\u00f5e uma discuss\u00e3o sobre a sexualidade feminina e sua disson\u00e2ncia em rela\u00e7\u00e3o aos pap\u00e9is sociais de m\u00e3e, esposa, cidad\u00e3, etc.<\/p>\n

O texto de Racine, escrito na Fran\u00e7a em 1677, imortalizou-se na Hist\u00f3ria do Teatro, tendo sido encenado por alguns dos maiores diretores contempor\u00e2neos. A grande montagem brasileira foi realizada por Augusto Boal e protagonizada por Fernanda Montenegro em 1986.<\/p>\n

SINOPSE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fedra \u00e9 casada com o rei Teseu. Ela se apaixona por Hip\u00f3lito, filho de seu marido. Quando Teseu \u00e9 declarado morto na guerra, Fedra cria coragem e declara seu amor por seu enteado.
