Considerado um dos \u00edcones do teatro brit\u00e2nico atual, o autor Steven Berkoff tem tr\u00eas de suas pe\u00e7as curtas montadas pelo encenador brasileiro Marco Ant\u00f4nio P\u00e2mio e agrupadas na com\u00e9dia Ator Mente, que estreia no dia 14 de junho no Teatro Nair Bello. O elenco conta com Norival Rizzo, Noemi Marinho, Josemir Kowalick e Luciano Schwab.<\/p>\n

Os textos que inspiraram a montagem est\u00e3o presentes na colet\u00e2nea \u201cOne Act Plays\u201d (Pe\u00e7as de Um Ato), composta por 19 pe\u00e7as curtas, divididas em v\u00e1rios blocos tem\u00e1ticos. A montagem relaciona as obras \u201cI Wanna Agent\u201d (\u201cQuero um Agente\u201d, em portugu\u00eas) e \u201cThis is an Emergency\u201d (\u201cIsto \u00e9 uma Emerg\u00eancia\u201d), ambas da se\u00e7\u00e3o \u201cActors\u201d (\u201cAtores\u201d), e \u201cRoast\u201d (\u201cAssado\u201d), presente no bloco \u201cRejection\u201d (\u201cRejei\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d).<\/p>\n

O resultado \u00e9 uma com\u00e9dia que lan\u00e7a um olhar ao mesmo tempo sarc\u00e1stico, melanc\u00f3lico e bem-humorado sobre o que \u00e9 ser ator e toda a carga que a profiss\u00e3o carrega: as expectativas, as frustra\u00e7\u00f5es, as cobran\u00e7as, o desemprego etc. S\u00e3o pe\u00e7as nas quais os personagens mostram o \u201coutro lado da moeda\u201d da profiss\u00e3o, revelando-se fr\u00e1geis, pat\u00e9ticos, falhos e, por conta de tudo isso, profundamente humanos.<\/p>\n

Os tr\u00eas textos se comunicam em cena a partir da figura de um ator desiludido com a profiss\u00e3o, Brian Philips, interpretado por Norival Rizzo. Em \u201cQuero um Agente\u201d, o personagem encontra-se em um camarim com um colega (Bruce, papel de Josemir Kowalick) antes de entrar em cena para um ato natalino. Enquanto se preparam, o protagonista lamenta o fato de n\u00e3o ter um agente e, por isso, n\u00e3o conseguir boas oportunidades de trabalho.<\/p>\n

Em \u201cAssado\u201d, uma m\u00e3e (interpretada por Brian Philips\/Norival Rizzo) conta uma hist\u00f3ria de ninar para seu filho pequeno (Bruce\/Josemir Kowalick). De repente, esse conto aparentemente inocente adquire contornos de um terror crescente e assustador. J\u00e1 \u201cIsto \u00e9 uma Emerg\u00eancia\u201d mostra uma conversa em casa entre Brian e sua esposa, Barbara (interpretada por Noemi Marinho), que j\u00e1 n\u00e3o acredita que o marido se firmar\u00e1 como ator bem-sucedido depois de d\u00e9cadas de tentativas frustradas. Ela sugere que ele trabalhe como motorista de t\u00e1xi, mas a figura de um motorista troglodita e s\u00e1dico, Joe (papel de Luciano Schwab) surge para abalar a rela\u00e7\u00e3o desgastada do casal.<\/p>\n

Originalmente, as pe\u00e7as que comp\u00f5em Ator Mente n\u00e3o foram concebidas para compor uma trilogia. S\u00e3o textos independentes e sem liga\u00e7\u00e3o aparente entre si. O roteiro dramat\u00fargico do espet\u00e1culo foi pensado especialmente para este trabalho pelo tradutor e diretor Marco Ant\u00f4nio P\u00e2mio. Ator Mente tamb\u00e9m celebra o reencontro em cena e os 45 anos de parceria art\u00edstica dos atores Norival Rizzo e Noemi Marinho.<\/p>\n

SOBRE STEVEN BERKOFF – AUTOR<\/p>\n

Leslie Steven Berks \u00e9 um ator, dramaturgo e diretor brit\u00e2nico, famoso por interpretar pap\u00e9is de vil\u00f5es em filmes populares como o General Orlov no filme de James Bond \u201cOctopussy\u201d, Victor Maitland em \u201cBeverly Hills Cop\u201d, e Podovsky em \u201cRambo\u201d. \u00c9 patrono do Nightingale Theatre em Brighton, na Inglaterra, expoente centro do teatro alternativo no Reino Unido. Nasceu em Stepney, regi\u00e3o leste de Londres, filho de Alfred Berks (Berkovitch) e Pauline (Hyman), de antepassados romenos. Estudou na Escola de Gram\u00e1tica da Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Raine de 1948 a 1950, na Escola Hackney Downs, na Academia de Arte Dram\u00e1tica Webber Douglas, em Londres, em 1958, e na Ecole Jacques Lecoq, em Paris, em 1965. \u00c9 considerado um dos gurus do teatro atual, sempre provocador e genu\u00edno, e vem inovando nos palcos desde a d\u00e9cada de 1960 na dire\u00e7\u00e3o, atua\u00e7\u00e3o e dramaturgia.<\/p>\n

SOBRE MARCO ANT\u00d4NIO P\u00c2MIO \u2013 DIRETOR<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ator e diretor teatral, Marco Ant\u00f4nio P\u00e2mio estudou no Centro de Pesquisa Teatral (CPT) e no Drama Studio London, na Inglaterra. Estreou profissionalmente no papel de Romeu na montagem de “Romeu e Julieta”, de William Shakespeare, dirigida por Antunes Filho. Destaca-se por sua atua\u00e7\u00e3o na cena teatral paulistana, em montagens dirigidas por nomes referenciais da cena brasileira, como Naum Alves de Souza, Gabriel Villela, Elias Andreato, Bete Coelho, Z\u00e9 Henrique de Paula, Lu\u00eds Artur Nunes, Aderbal Freire-Filho e S\u00e9rgio Ferrara, entre outros. Recentemente fez parte do “Repert\u00f3rio Shakespeare” (que alternava as montagens de \u201cMacbeth\u201d e \u201cMedida por Medida\u201d), dirigido por Ron Daniels, e de “Tr\u00f3ilo e Cr\u00e9ssida” e \u201cA Noite de 16 de Janeiro\u201d, dirigidas por J\u00f4 Soares.<\/p>\n

Participou tamb\u00e9m de telenovelas e miniss\u00e9ries, entre elas \u201cMandala\u201d, \u201cJK\u201d e \u201cAss\u00e9dio\u201d (Globo), \u201cSangue do meu Sangue\u201d e \u201cCora\u00e7\u00f5es Feridos\u201d (SBT), \u201c\u00c1gua na Boca\u201d (Band), \u201cO Neg\u00f3cio\u201d (HBO) e \u201cSess\u00e3o de Terapia\u201d (GNT). Recebeu tr\u00eas pr\u00eamios APCA: ator-revela\u00e7\u00e3o em “Romeu e Julieta” (1984), melhor ator pelo papel-t\u00edtulo em \u201cEdmond\u201d (2006) e melhor diretor por “Assim \u00c9 (Se lhe Parece)” (2014). Tamb\u00e9m dirigiu “Propriedades Condenadas”, “Consertando Frank”, “Noites Sem Fim”, “Playground” (pelo qual foi indicado ao Pr\u00eamio Shell 2016 como melhor diretor), \u201cA Profiss\u00e3o da Senhora Warren\u201d e \u201cCobra na Geladeira\u201d. Sua dire\u00e7\u00e3o de “Baixa Terapia”, com Antonio Fagundes, est\u00e1 h\u00e1 dois anos em cartaz e j\u00e1 completou 300 apresenta\u00e7\u00f5es. Sua mais recente dire\u00e7\u00e3o foi \u201cA Cat\u00e1strofe do Sucesso\u201d, de Tennessee Williams, fruto de uma resid\u00eancia art\u00edstica no Instituto Cultural Capobianco.<\/p>\n

SINOPSE<\/strong><\/p>\n

O espet\u00e1culo re\u00fane tr\u00eas pe\u00e7as curtas de Steven Berkoff, que se ligam por meio da figura de um ator desiludido com a profiss\u00e3o, que sobrevive fazendo pequenos bicos em teatros alternativos. Em \u201cQuero um Agente\u201d, dois atores se encontram em um camarim antes de se apresentarem em um ato natalino. Enquanto se preparam, eles desabafam sobre a dificuldade de conseguir boas oportunidades de trabalho. No texto \u201cAssado\u201d, uma m\u00e3e conta para seu filho pequeno uma hist\u00f3ria assustadora. E na terceira pe\u00e7a, \u201cIsto \u00e9 uma Emerg\u00eancia\u201d, a esposa de um ator frustrado o incentiva a se tornar motorista de taxi.<\/p>\n
