Idealizado pela atriz La\u00eds Marques junto a Cia Raz\u00f5es Inversas, o espet\u00e1culo retrata uma reclusa escritora de livros juvenis que torna-se, do dia para a noite, um fen\u00f4meno de vendas. Seus livros s\u00e3o como tesouros preciosos estimados, sobretudo, pelos jovens leitores identificados com a hero\u00edna Greta. Entretanto, quando os verdadeiros aspectos da sua vida pessoal veem \u00e0 tona o p\u00fablico pergunta a si mesmo: \u201co que interessa mais: o autor ou sua obra?\u201d<\/p>\n

O texto teatral Heather foi escrito no ano de 2017 pelo jovem autor brit\u00e2nico Thomas Eccleshare, vencedor do Verity Bargate Award e Catherine Johnson Award, al\u00e9m de recentemente indicado ao Off West End Award como um dos mais promissores escritores da atualidade.<\/p>\n

O texto \u00e9 estruturado a partir de tr\u00eas narrativas curtas, exibidas diretamente ao espectador atrav\u00e9s do jogo \u00e1gil entre dois atores. Na primeira parte h\u00e1 uma troca de emails entre um editor e uma promissora escritora, misteriosamente reclusa. Na segunda parte do texto, uma conversa presencial entre ambos exp\u00f5e as suas verdadeiras identidades, o que acarreta uma reviravolta geral em meio ao tremendo sucesso obtido com a estreia de Heather no mercado liter\u00e1rio. Finalmente, na terceira parte, o pr\u00f3prio best seller \u00e9 encenado numa perspectiva cinematogr\u00e1fica, dando margem para que a hero\u00edna Greta e sua caneta m\u00e1gica encarem as trevas de um mundo intolerante.<\/p>\n

Heather tematiza de uma maneira caleidosc\u00f3pica o delicado jogo das apar\u00eancias na arte e, em especial, no mercado editorial dos best sellers juvenis. A inten\u00e7\u00e3o principal da pe\u00e7a \u00e9 evidenciar o abismo muitas vezes existente entre a obra e o seu criador e, com isso, revelar as facetas mais obscuras do ser humano, inclusive do artista mitificado pelo seu p\u00fablico, tanto quanto pelo lucrativo mercado editorial.<\/p>\n

Sobre o autor Thomas Eccleshare<\/strong><\/p>\n

Escritor, ator e diretor teatral, formado pela Escola Jacques Lecoq. Como dramaturgo, recebeu os Pr\u00eamios Verity Bargate, Catherine Johnson e tamb\u00e9m foi indicado ao Off West End Award, como um dos mais promissores dramaturgos brit\u00e2nicos da atualidade. Ele escreve para TV e cinema regularmente, sendo que no ano passado recebeu o primeiro incentivo para o JJ BAFTA Screenwriting Bursary. Eccleshare \u00e9 co-diretor art\u00edstico da Cia Dancing Brick com a qual tem realizado in\u00fameras turn\u00eas nacionais e internacionais. Atualmente est\u00e1 em cartaz na Royal Court.<\/p>\n

Sobre o encenador Marcio Aurelio<\/strong><\/p>\n

Professor Doutor pelo Departamento de Teatro da Escola de Comunica\u00e7\u00f5es e Artes da USP e livre-docente pelo Departamento de Artes C\u00eanicas do Instituto de Artes da UNICAMP, Marcio Aurelio \u00e9 um dos mais premiados e reconhecidos diretores de teatro brasileiro. Como encenador, montou espet\u00e1culos no Brasil e no exterior a partir de textos de S\u00f3focles, Shakespeare, Bertolt Brecht, Nelson Rodrigues, Alcides Nogueira, entre outros. Em 1990, criou a Companhia Raz\u00f5es Inversas na qual dirigiu espet\u00e1culos premiados como \u201cSenhorita Else\u201d, de Arthur Schnitzler, \u201cA Bilha Quebrada\u201d, de Kleist, e \u201cAgreste\u201d, de Newton Moreno. Em 2009, dirigiu \u201cBallo\u201d, com a S\u00e3o Paulo Companhia de Dan\u00e7a. Sua primeira colabora\u00e7\u00e3o com a dan\u00e7a foi com a bailarina Marilena Ansaldi, em 1987, com o premiado espet\u00e1culo, \u201cHamlet-Machine\u201d. Entre 1997 e 2000, dirigiu o bailarino e core\u00f3grafo Ismael Ivo, no Deutsches National Theater, em Weimar, na Alemanha. J\u00e1 recebeu pr\u00eamios da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Paulista de Cr\u00edticos de Arte, do Trof\u00e9u Mambembe, do Pr\u00eamio Moli\u00e8re e do Pr\u00eamio Shell, em diversos espet\u00e1culos, como \u201cLua de Cetim\u201d, \u201cP\u00e1ssaro do Poente\u201d e \u201cP\u00f3lvora e Poesia\u201d. Em 2018 dirigiu \u201cCaixa de Mem\u00f3rias\u201d.<\/p>\n
